About this Workshop

Breathwork leads to a strong mindset and trained concentration which helps the person achieve certain goals such as weight management. Breathing techniques can help to regulate the hormones associated with healthy eating habits. For example, some hormones make people feel full after a meal. If these hormones are not active, the person can eat more than usual. Another component of losing weight is psychological aspects that affect a person’s eating habits.

Many people cope with their traumas and toxic patterns through unhealthy eating habits. With breathwork, we can work on the physical and emotional blockages getting in the way of pursuing a healthy lifestyle. We can train our bodies and minds to become our allies rather than our enemy and learn healthy coping mechanisms to deal with our problems.

How to prepare for the session:

  • It is best not to eat a big meal before the session
  • Set up a quiet space where you will be undisturbed for the session
  • Make sure that you have access to a yoga mat, cushions, bolsters, blankets, a blindfold (optional) and tissues
  • Join the session on time to not miss the instructions of the techniques we will be using
  • You will need a good internet connection and a good speaker or headphones because we will play music
  • Bring a notebook / journal and a pen, crayons, markers, etc
  • You can also bring a drink of cacao, herbal tea or water
