With bodywork, we release the long-held tension and pain areas in the body caused by trauma. We increase the capacity of movement in the body and restore vitality. Components of the Innercamp bodywork method include breathwork, movement, sound, and touch.
Breath is used as a safe bridge to move between parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems, between tension and resource. With every inhale we charge the body and with the exhale we release what doesn’t serve us anymore. We move the body to give titration and tremoring to tension areas. We unwind, undulate, and shake the body, listening to the messages our body is sending us. We use sound to release and create vibrations. Every session is complimented with activating and calming music. Clients are encouraged to bring in their voices as well. The last element is touch. Touch can help calm down and be soothing as well as move the energy throughout the body.
The bodywork method frees the person from the old wounds manifesting in the body.
