Week 7. Exercise: Mirror talk Copy

Louise Hay, a motivational author, recommends a powerful exercise in her book, “You Can Heal Your Life”. We have improved it and this week we bring it to you 🙂

– Stand in front of a large mirror.

– Look deep into your eyes, one eye at a time.

– Take at least 1 minute with each eye before switching to the other one. Spend 5-10 minutes by simply gazing into your eyes.

– Afterwards, say your name and “__________ I love and accept you exactly as you are”.

You can do this twice a day, once in the morning as soon as you get up and at night before you go to bed. Please do it a few times this week and send us your conclusions.

Doing this exercise may not be easy for some people at first and even seem silly but as you start doing it regularly you will find that it becomes easier to look into your eyes and say the words. As you continue doing this exercise on a regular basis, you will notice that you are less critical and more accepting of yourself. You will appreciate yourself for who you are and will embrace yourself as a whole, with all your qualities.
