1. Live practice hours
What to check: how many live sessions there are, how long each one lasts, and whether you practise guiding real people, not only watching videos.
How InnerCamp answers: the online format has 18 live Zoom sessions of 2.5 hours. The hybrid format starts with a 5-day in-person intensive (9 AM to 7 PM) at Centro Santillán near Málaga, Spain, where all the practical work happens. Student facilitation sessions are mandatory, and you also record two in-person sessions with friends at home. Online students attend at least 75% of Level 1 live sessions and all Level 2 sessions.
2. Supervision and feedback
What to check: who watches you facilitate, how you get feedback, and how your competence is assessed before you are certified.
How InnerCamp answers: weekly assignments come with personal feedback, your teachers support you throughout, and you have a 1-on-1 session with the InnerCamp counsellor. Every student is personally evaluated on empathy, communication, setting boundaries, self-care and professional standards, and there is a final exam. Diplomas are issued only after checks by our certification department.
3. Safety training
What to check: whether contraindications, screening, consent and handling strong reactions are taught in depth, and whether the approach is trauma-informed.
How InnerCamp answers: the training is trauma-informed throughout. The curriculum covers safety in breathwork practice, contraindications, consent, preventing retraumatisation and how to support strong reactions.
4. Accreditation
What to check: which independent bodies recognise the course and what that recognition means for you.
How InnerCamp answers: the breathwork training carries 300 CPD credits. InnerCamp is a CMA Registered Training School (Complementary Medical Association) and a member school of the International Breathwork Foundation (IBF). If you want to claim CPD activity, you submit your hours to the relevant organisation yourself.
5. Price and what it includes
What to check: the full price, payment plans, any extra fees, and what happens if you need to pause.
How InnerCamp answers: online editions cost €2,250 to €2,500 and hybrid editions cost €3,250 to €3,500. You can pay in full, pay a deposit to secure your spot, or pay in monthly instalments. The price is the same for everyone, with no card commission and no extra fees after enrolment. A limited number of scholarships are available. If you need to move to a later edition after the start, the fee is €300 plus any price difference.
6. Support after you graduate
What to check: whether you keep the materials, whether your certificate expires, and whether there is a community once the course ends.
How InnerCamp answers: your diploma is valid for life, with no renewal or issuing fee. You keep lifetime access to the course, can be listed in the InnerCamp Directory of Facilitators, receive business tools and templates, and stay part of the graduate community.
A fair way to compare
We have not named or rated other schools here. Ask every school the same six questions in writing, and compare the answers side by side. A clear, specific answer to each is a good sign whichever school you choose.
