What are the requirements to get certified as a breathwork facilitator?

To be eligible for the Facilitator certification, you need to: 1. Attend at least 75% of the required Level 1 live sessions (you can miss 1–2 out of 8) and 100% of the required Level 2 live sessions if you are enrolled in the online training. 2. Attend all in-person activities and facilitate during all live onsite sessions if you are enrolled in the hybrid training. 3. Complete the full course (Level 1 + Level 2) on our e-learning platform, with all assignments approved by InnerCamp. This requirement applies to both online and hybrid training students. 4. Complete at least 75% of Level 1, including lessons and assignments, before starting Level 2 if you are enrolled in the online training. 5. Facilitate during all student facilitation sessions, both online and onsite, if you are enrolled in the online training. 6. Keep your camera on during live sessions and actively participate in the classes and practices if you are enrolled in the online training. 7. Complete any additional assignments or exams that InnerCamp considers necessary for evaluation. This requirement applies to both online and hybrid training students. These requirements exist so you actually practice, not just study. Certification means you have done the work.

How do I become a certified breathwork facilitator with InnerCamp?

Enroll in the Holosomatic® Breathwork Training in its online or hybrid format. Over four months you complete the coursework and assignments, attend the required live sessions, facilitate in the students facilitating sessions, and pass the final exam. Once all requirements are approved, you receive the Holosomatic® Breathwork Facilitator diploma and can start working with clients right away.

You attend the 5-day onsite training first, for hands-on practice and guided exercises. Then you complete the 4-month self-paced online course, which covers the theory. The practical skills are learned in person; the study happens on your own schedule.

The onsite training is five days of intensive, practical work. You practice the Holosomatic® Breathwork techniques daily, give and receive sessions, and learn to hold space for others. By the end of the five days you will have facilitated real practice sessions under supervision.

Where do the onsite breathwork trainings take place, and when can I start?

Does the hybrid training include live Zoom sessions?

No. In the hybrid format, all practical exercises are covered during the 5-day in-person training. Only the fully online training includes live Zoom sessions.

What is the difference between the online and the hybrid breathwork training?

The online training runs over four months with 16 or 18 live Zoom sessions (2 to 2.5 hours each), where you practice the techniques with instructors and fellow students. The hybrid training starts with a 5-day in-person intensive where all the practical work happens. You then complete a 4-month online course covering theory, assignments, and facilitation strategy. Both formats lead to the same Holosomatic® Breathwork Facilitator diploma, and both give you up to seven months to finish.

Which Holosomatic® Method training should I take: Breathwork, Bodywork, or Energy?

Choose Holosomatic® Bodywork if you already have a solid foundation and want to work with the body directly, releasing deeper layers of stored trauma. Choose Holosomatic® Energy if you have completed foundational work and are ready for advanced energetic activation and movement, integrating body, mind, and energy.

Does the training include a final exam?

Yes. The exam assesses your understanding of the material and your ability to organize and guide sessions, use the correct terminology, and apply what you have learned with real participants.

Will I become a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator?

Yes. Trauma-informed practice is built into the training, not added on top. You study the psychology and physiology of trauma, learn to work with clients who carry PTSD, CPTSD, panic attacks, or experiences of sexual abuse, and, centrally, how to prevent re-traumatization in a breathwork setting. The aim is an approach that is sensitive, effective, and safe.

Is the breathwork facilitator training accredited?

Yes. Your course is accredited by the CPD Certification Service (UK). InnerCamp is a CMA Registered Training School (Complementary Medical Association) and a member school of the International Breathwork Foundation (IBF). These are professional accreditation and memberships, not a government-issued qualification.

Do I need prior experience or prerequisites to join?

No. The breathwork training starts from foundational concepts and builds to advanced practice, so beginners are welcome. It is in fact the program we recommend as a first step into the Holosomatic® Method.

Yes. Our diplomas are CPD-accredited, and you can obtain professional insurance for your practice based on your InnerCamp certification, subject to the requirements of your chosen insurance provider and country.

Do I need to keep my camera on during live sessions?

Yes. Cameras on is part of active participation. It keeps the learning environment connected between you, your instructors, and the other students. If work or other commitments make a session difficult, tell us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.

How many hours per week should I plan for?

Plan for 12 to 15 hours per week for the online course, including the Zoom sessions. Community activities are optional but worth the time if you can make it.

Do I need to attend all live sessions of the online training?

Check the scheduled dates and times before you book, and plan to attend them all. The minimum requirement is 75% attendance for the Level 1 live sessions (you can miss 1–2 out of 8) and 100% for Level 2.

What are the Students Facilitating Sessions? Are they mandatory?

Yes, all of them are mandatory. These are the sessions where you facilitate breathwork for others as part of your training. You can also invite one or two friends to experience the practices with you at home, which is an important step in developing your skills as a facilitator.

What if I can't participate in the Students Facilitating Sessions?

In exceptional cases (once only, with written approval from the InnerCamp team) you may submit a recording of yourself facilitating a session instead. What if I can't keep up? Can I move my spot to the next edition?

You can retake assignments as many times as you need, at no extra cost. Review your notes and the materials on the e-learning platform before resubmitting.

Yes. The training covers how to run events, including the practical considerations that first-time organizers tend to miss, and there are opportunities to collaborate with InnerCamp. Recent graduates have been running online events soon after certifying.

I've never taken an online course before. Is this right for me?

That's a common worry, and a fair one. The online training is built to be interactive rather than passive: video lectures, discussion boards, and live sessions where you can ask questions and get feedback. You can access the content anytime, from anywhere, and work around your own schedule within the deadlines.

I have no facilitation experience. Will I really be ready to guide breathwork sessions after four months?

Many of our students start from zero and go on to facilitate confidently. The training is structured for exactly this: hands-on practice, and step-by-step guidance until facilitation feels natural. Everyone starts where they are comfortable: some begin with close friends, some fold the techniques into an existing practice, some go straight to full sessions. You won't be doing it alone.

What are the contraindications for Holosomatic® Method and Holosomatic® Breathwork?

Holosomatic® Method can involve intense physical and emotional releases. For your safety, you may NOT participate if you have any of the following conditions: Neurological and cardiovascular: epilepsy or seizures, stroke (CVA) or transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), detached retina, glaucoma, uncontrolled high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease (heart attack history, arrhythmia, heart failure), aneurysm (personal or immediate family history), prescription blood thinners, implanted medical devices (pacemakers, neurostimulators). Psychiatric and mental health: severe mental disorders (bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, OCD, paranoia, psychotic episodes, depersonalization, dissociative disorders and similar), severe anxiety or PTSD without professional support, psychiatric hospitalization or emotional crisis within the past 10 years, active substance withdrawal (alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines or other drugs), low impulse control. Chronic and autoimmune conditions: Addison's disease (adrenal insufficiency), chronic respiratory disease (COPD-II, COPD-III), unstable diabetes (especially Type 1), severe autoimmune or inflammatory disease (Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, severe Fibromyalgia), terminal illness or chronic disease with decompensation, cancer during active treatment or in advanced stages (if in remission, consult your doctor). Acute and musculoskeletal conditions: acute somatic or viral illness, severe adrenal fatigue or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME), osteoporosis or unhealed injuries, severe chronic pain affecting movement, major surgery within the last 6 months (especially abdominal, heart, or neurological). Yes. The onsite menu is vegetarian, and we can accommodate certain diets such as gluten-free and lactose fre when informed in advance. We contact every participant a few weeks before the event to confirm dietary requirements.
